Annual Community- Wide Spring Cleanup

                                      Free Disposal Day

In conjunction with Earth Day, The City of Guymon is offering a Free Disposal Day to help everyone keep Guymon a great place to live. We will accept anything that can normally be accepted at the transfer station on Road T for no charge on April 22, 2017. See attached flier for more details.

To make it more convenient for our citizens, we are also offering a drop off location in town to better serve our community. There will be staff on location at the Texas County fairgrounds areas to help citizens unload and separate items into the appropriate locations. Appliances, furniture, mattresses, scrap metal, paint & hazardous household waste and up to 8 tires per household. Since citizens are still cleaning up their property after the ice storm, we will accept tree limbs at this location as well. As usual, please bring a photo ID and a utility bill to show proof of residency.

If citizens just want to volunteer to help clean up their community or neighborhood, please contact Main Street Guymon for volunteer opportunities. If individuals, service organizations, or groups will get involved across town, we can make this town a much cleaner place to live. If volunteers use the provided trash bags and want to clean up an ares, the bags can just be discarded in a dumpster around town to make is easier to serve the community. just a few hours of service can make a huge difference to the community we call home.
