The second annual Oklahoma Panhandle Regional Job Fair is just around the corner where employers in the Oklahoma Panhandle can market their business and connect with potential employees.
The fair is on March 5 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Texas County Activity Center in Guymon, OK.
According to Betty Viljoen, Panhandle Regional Economic Development Coalition, Inc. (PREDCI) Economic Development director, for those who desire to participate, there are truly a lot of benefits including immediate hiring opportunities.
"We are asking participating businesses and employers to send their hiring decision makers to this event. Our goal is to help employers who are really serious about filling job openings find good, qualified employees," Vilijoen said.
Some benefits of the job fair include on-site private interview space, screening of eligible applicants, immediate hiring opportunities, a listing in PREDCI's "Employers Now Hiring" brochure and a link on the City of Guymon website.
"Potential employees don't want to miss this opportunity to personally meet hiring managers and explore career paths right here in the Oklahoma Panhandle," Viljoen said.
Some of the employers already registered for the job fair are: Allen Clemans Farms, Hitch Enterprises, Guymon Public Schools, Murphy Brown L.L.C., Lodestar L.L.C., CRI Feeder of Guymon, Seaboard Foods, Bank of the Panhandle, First National Bank of Texhoma and Gigot Agra Products.
