The Guymon Municipal Airport has a terminal building built in 2007 that is 3,000 square feet. It has a 5,900 x 100 feet wide runway, taxi lanes, 41 based aircraft, a 24/7 onsite FBO (flight based operator), general aviation fuel (100 LL) and Jet A fuel available. It has courtesy cars available upon request. Right hand pattern, Runway 18, The Guymon Airport frequency is 119.925, CTAF Unicom 112.770. It has won the FAA Southwest Region Oklahoma Large Airport General Aviation of the Year Award in 2009, as well as the Oklahoma Airport Operator Association’s Airport of the Year Award in 2010.
Public Notice The City of Guymon and the Guymon Municipal Airport hereby announce its 2016-2018 fiscal goal of 9.59% for Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) airport construction projects. The proposed goal and its rationale are available for inspection between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday at City Hall, 219 NW 4th St., Guymon, Oklahoma 73942 for 30 days from the date of this publication. There will also be a public comment meeting opportunity on Thursday, July 14, 2016, from 4 pm – 5 pm at the offices of Garver, 1016 24th Ave NW, Norman, OK 73069. You are welcome to attend to discuss these goals.
