Guymon Sales Tax Up for First Quarter of 2016

Guymon has continued to diversify it's economic portfolio in a strategic plan to maintain healthy revenue flows. The City of Guymon Sales Tax is up five percent last quarter compared to 2015, according to City Manager Kimberly Meek.

Under Oklahoma law, sales tax is the primary source of revenue for cities’ day-to-day expenses such as police and fire protection.
