Effective July 1, 2026, and until further notice, the City of Guymon will not issue any fire hydrant meters. In addition, all existing fire hydrant meter permits and authorizations shall terminate effective July 1, 2026, and all hydrant meters must be removed and returned to the City on or before that date.

This policy is being implemented as a water conservation measure to protect the City's water resources and ensure the continued reliability of the municipal water system during periods of increased demand.

Requests for exceptions, if any, will be reviewed solely at the discretion of the City Manager.
