We are so excited to announce that Texas County Emergency Management will be hosting an OK-FIRE Workshop on October 15!
📅 Date: Thursday, October 15, 2026
⏰ Time: 9:00 AM–4:30 PM
📍 Location: Texas County Emergency Management, Guymon, OK
OK-FIRE is only holding three in-person workshops throughout the state, so we are very excited to have one of those workshops here in Texas County!
I’m not sure if it was just luck, or if we were just persistent enough that they finally agreed to let Texas County Emergency Management host—but either way, we are thrilled to have them here! 😊
The workshop is FREE and will cover the OK-FIRE website, fire danger, forecast and monitoring products, real-life emergency management scenarios, prescribed burning, and more. The training is geared toward landowners, wildland managers, firefighters, prescribed burn associations, and public safety officials.
