City Personnel

The City of Guymon would like to officially introduce Keith Boggs as City Clerk. Keith brings six years of municipal government experience and a strong commitment to public service to his role as Guymon’s City Clerk.

Keith began his municipal career with the Village of Angel Fire, New Mexico, as a Finance Assistant. Within two months, he was promoted to Accountant, and by the end of his first year, he had also assumed payroll responsibilities. After three years, he became Village Clerk.

He moved to Guymon in January 2024 to be closer to family and shortly afterward joined the City as Records Clerk. Over the past two years, he has trained and prepared to step into the City Clerk position, building on his experience in finance, records management, and municipal operations.

As City Clerk, Keith oversees Utility Billing, Municipal Court, the Cemetery Clerk, Boards & Commissions, and the Assistant City Clerk. He also helps facilitate City Council meetings and supports the City Manager, Mayor, and Council.

With a background in customer service, Keith wants every resident who calls or visits City Hall to feel welcomed, heard, and assisted. His priorities include supporting efficient daily operations, continuing his professional education, and doing his part to contribute to Guymon’s growth.

“At the heart of my job is serving the people of Guymon,” Keith said. “I want to use what I’ve learned to make a positive difference and keep improving how we serve our community.”

Although family brought Keith to Guymon, the people and their kindness helped make it home. Soon after arriving, he began volunteering to meet residents and become involved in the community he serves. He has served on the Home for the Holidays committee and currently serves as a director on the Rodeo Committee, a member of the Chamber Banquet Committee, and a member of Main Street Guymon’s Organizational Committee. He is also participating in the 2026–2027 Leadership Guymon class. Outside of work and volunteering, Keith enjoys spending time with his sister, niece, and friends—and settling in with a good book.

We are proud to have Keith at the City of Guymon and wish him the best as City Clerk! 🏆
